Youth Theatre
Our weekly Youth Theatre sessions are a great way to make new friends, develop your knowledge and interest in the performing arts, and learn new creative and life skills.

If you're interested in joining our Youth Theatre at the start of next term, drop us a line on [email protected] to see if there are places available.
Each group works on a range of skills and subjects, using theatre to tell stories, share ideas, and change the world. You'll create original work, explore new ideas, and develop your knowledge about theatre making.
All participants get to perform in our annual Youth Arts Festival presented in the Round, and members get to audition for the annual Youth Theatre production, presented in the McCarthy Theatre.
All Youth Theatre members also receive a number of free tickets to see work at the Stephen Joseph Theatre.

Standard fee: £180 a year/£60 a term
Discount: £120 a year/£40 a term - for people experiencing financial difficulty

FAQ's
Re-sales & exchanges: We must have the ticket at the Box Office in order to perform a re-sale or exchange. We regret we cannot refund money but four or more days prior to the performance we will exchange it for an alternative performance, within three days of the performance we will attempt to re-sell the ticket on your behalf. Both services are subject to a charge of £1.50 per ticket. Latecomers: Anyone arriving once the performance has begun will not be admitted until a suitable break which, on occasion, may be the interval. Content: Where possible we do indicate if strong language and/or adult content is used. Customers are advised to contact the Box Office with any concerns before booking tickets. Please note: the re-sale of tickets is prohibited.
