• A Complete Unknown (15) - Set in the influential New York music scene of the early 60s, A Complete Unknown follows 19-year-old Minnesota musician Bob Dylan's meteoric rise as a folk singer to concert halls and the top of the charts, culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival.

• Dune Part 2 (12) - Paul Atreides unites with the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, he endeavours to prevent a terrible future.

• The Substance (18) - Demi Moore gives a career-best performance as Elisabeth Sparkle, a former A-lister past her prime and suddenly fired from her fitness TV show by repellent studio head Harvey. She's then drawn to the opportunity presented by a mysterious new drug: The Substance. All it takes is one injection and she's reborn - temporarily - as the gorgeous, twenty something Sue.

• Emilia Pérez (15) - Through liberating song and dance and bold visuals, this odyssey follows the journey of four remarkable women in Mexico, each pursuing their own happiness. The fearsome cartel leader Emilia (Karla Sofía Gascón) enlists Rita (Zoe Saldaña), an unappreciated lawyer stuck in a dead-end job, to help fake her death so Emilia can finally live authentically as her true self.

• Nickel Boys (12A) - Set in 1960s Florida, this US historical drama centres around a pair of teenage boys boarding at an abusive reform school.

• Anora (18) - A sex worker marries the son of a Russian oligarch, but soon finds his family will stop at nothing to dissolve the young couple's union in this darkly comic drama.

• The Brutalist (18) - When a visionary architect and his wife flee post-war Europe in 1947 to rebuild their legacy and witness the birth of modern US, their lives are changed forever by a mysterious, wealthy client.

• I'm Still Here (15) - A mother is forced to reinvent herself when her family's life is shattered by an act of arbitrary violence during the tightening grip of a military dictatorship in Brazil, 1971. Based on Marcelo Rubens Paiva's biographical book and tells the true story that helped reconstruct an important part of Brazil’s hidden history.

• Wicked (PG) - Elphaba, an ostracised but defiant girl born with green skin, and Glinda, a privileged aristocrat born popular, become extremely unlikely friends in the magical Land of Oz. As the two girls struggle with their opposing personalities, their friendship is tested as both begin to fulfil their destinies as Glinda the Good and The Wicked Witch of the West.

• Conclave (12) - When Cardinal Lawrence is tasked with leading one of the world's most secretive and ancient events - selecting a new Pope - he finds himself at the centre of a conspiracy that could shake the very foundations of the Catholic Church...
