Hello local actors - we'd like to meet you!

Do we know you yet? And if not, why not? We're holding open general auditions to get to know more actors aged 18+ in the Scarborough area on Mon 24 July.

We're holding open general auditions to get to know more actors aged 18+ in the area. 

This isn't for a specific show, but simply for us to meet local actors whose work we don’t yet know so that we can bear you in mind for possible future opportunities - we're really keen to meet actors based in and around Scarborough. 

The audition panel will be:

• SJT Artistic Director, Paul Robinson

• Associate Director, Kash Arshad

• Head of Creative Engagement, Rob Salmon

• Talent Development Co-Ordinator, Nelli Mooney

Auditions will be on the Mon 24 July, here at the Stephen Joseph Theatre. 

If you'd like to apply for 15 min slot, please email Associate Director Kash Arshad by 9am on Mon 10th July with your Spotlight link or CV and headshot – please also let him know at what times between 10am and 6pm you're available. 

If we're able to offer you a slot, we'll reply by Tue 18 July to let you know. You'll be asked to prepare a short comic monologue of your choice.

Unfortunately, as slots are limited, we can't guarantee an audition to everyone.
