Fright Fest Films This Halloween

A selection of spooky films this October at the SJT. A showcase of thrilling cinema that will have you shaking in your seat.

The SJT’s film programmer, Steve Carley, says: “Our annual Fright Fest season, this time with a feast of ‘80s classic horror, and the return of our ever popular The Rocky Horror Picture Show event, complete with themed evening and menu at Eat Me Café and special Rocky Horror costume competition with prizes galore! So come dressed up as your favourite character and stay for the night, or even a bite?”

Poltergeist (1989)

Strange and creepy happenings beset an average California family, the Freelings, when ghosts commune with them through the television set. Initially friendly and playful, the spirits turn unexpectedly menacing, and, when Carol Ann goes missing, Steve and Diane turn to a parapsychologist and eventually an exorcist for help.
