All At Sea -16-31 October
Where do you turn when you’ve got £100,000 of credit card debt? And a £400,000 mortgage? For Colin, the answer is simple: fake his death in a canoeing accident in the North Sea.
Now his ‘widow’ Deborah is forced to enact a complex plan to secure life insurance money while lying to their sons. Inspired by the notorious Canoe Man case, All At Sea is a deep dive into Colin and Deborah’s relationship by award-winning playwright Alison Carr.
Sunny Side - 24 April
A powerful new dance-theatre production by Yorkshire-based Northern Rascals, exploring the mental health, loneliness, and societal pressures faced by young men in modern society. It's touring in partnership with Andy's Man Club and informed by the voices of over 750 young people across the UK.
Tim Lucas: We're Havin' a Party - 4 June
Following his appearance in the smash hit Love’s Labour’s Lost (more or less), Tim Lucas returns to the SJT with a special stripped-back edition of his sell-out show We’re Havin’ A Party.
Joined by his pianist, Tim delivers a warm, up-close evening of powerhouse vocals, quick-fire comedy and timeless music. From the smooth soul of My Girl to the irresistible groove of Red Light Spells Danger, the songs you love are reimagined in a setting that lets every lyric, laugh and musical moment hit.
Party Piece - 5 & 6 June
Follow Will, Keane, Robyn and Tom through the outrageous events of the night before as they take a look beneath the showing off and realise it's time they get out and grow up... they might just have to find their shoes first!
This hilarious exploration of the hopes and dreams of young people is told through a mix of physical theatre and stand-up comedy and has performed all over the world since its multi-award recognised run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. An SJT Young Company production.
John Godber's The Highwayman - 7-10 October
It’s 1769. Yorkshire is the place to be; a region drunk on making money, social climbing, gambling and gin, but with wealth in abundance, the temptation is great…
The Highwayman is a new thrilling theatrical romantic adventure from the writer of ‘Bouncers’ and ‘Do I Love You?’
Flat & The Curves: Rosè Tinted - 27 February '27
Award-winning comedy girl band Flat & the Curves return with their well-aged cabaret, Rosé Tinted!
Through original music, the comedy girlband pays homage to friendships forged through grape-fuelled revelry - expect a raucous look at life's disasters and absurdities, delivered with a cheeky wink and ferocious vocals.
