About

It's All Relative is an evening of Alan Ayckbourn in two halves!

In the first half Alan Ayckbourn’s archivist Simon Murgatroyd M.A. explores the creation of Relatively Speaking on its 60th anniversary (8th July 1965). In the wake of one of his biggest West End failures, Alan Ayckbourn would write his breakout West End hit and one of his most famous plays.

We've assembled a group of actors with years of Ayckbourn experience. The second half of the evening is your chance to hear stories gathered from behind the scenes on some of Alan Ayckbourn's 90 plays. We haven't confirmed casting yet but there will be plenty of familiar faces.

Actors, Audiences & Ayckbourn

It's All Relative is part of a special fundraising weekend with our Director Emeritus Alan Ayckbourn. The fundraising weekend will include a rehearsed reading of Men, Meals & Me a never before heard play. Full details here.
