The film that launched a legend!
When boats go missing and a village is destroyed, an elder blames the events on an ancient sea creature known as Godzilla. The government sends Kyohei Yamane to investigate, who concludes that the creature has been disturbed by underwater hydrogen bomb testing.
When the fire-breathing monster threatens Tokyo, Yamane’s daughter Emiko must persuade the secluded scientist Serizawa that a powerful weapon he's developed should be used to destroy it. With an introduction from the SFF team.
