Who are the SJT Friends?
The Stephen Joseph Theatre Friends are enthusiastic supporters of the SJT. Our Patrons are Sir Alan and Lady Ayckbourn. Our organisation is now 34 years young and over the years we have supported the SJT to the tune of £247,000. We organise interesting, informative and fun events for Friends and their friends.
We have a Notice Board on the first floor of the theatre where forthcoming events are advertised.
Friends' members receive valuable benefits:
- Discount on tickets for SJT productions
- Discount on meals in the theatre restaurant
- The chance to sit in on rehearsals at the theatre
- Annual Gala Nights where we receive discounted seats for a performance and afterwards enjoy a buffet supper attended by the cast and crew
- A magazine called Newsround and occasional newsletters.
- The opportunity to apply for a Friends credit card which earns commission for the theatre.

Single membership £20
Joint membership (both at same address) £35
Life Membership A one-off payment of £250
